I honestly stopped working out to write some of this article because the results I’m getting are some powerful from this stuff. So, lets get into it..why Qi gong? What the heck it is anyway? It’s a type of martial arts practice actually. This type of martial arts is for the cultivation of your life force energy though. Life force meaning, the invisible body that mobilizes your entire physical body. Confusing? of course it is! It’s all good though, you’ll get it. Trust.
I can’t see your face from where i am but Okay you seem a bit more interested in this exercise now that you noticed the booty lifting part that you’re fully tuned in. i got you..well Qi gong is good for the entire body!
And even though the type of Qi gong i mostly focus on is medical Qi gong which works the inside of the body..yes the inside not the outside..but it does both though trust me. Ayurveda or the Ayurvedic medicine system is the traditional healing system of India, which originated over 5,000 years back.
Ayurveda is a 5000 year old Indian medicine system that is getting ever more popular in the Western part of the world. It’s a holistic system essentially aimed toward feeling well and living in harmony with yourself and your surroundings.
According to Ayurveda one of the most important means to achieve this is a balanced diet; not to be confused with the Crash-diets the Western culture is generally used to. Instead of leaving out all “bad” foods an Ayurvedic Diet means adjusting your cooking to go well with your person and will help you feel better in general and being able to cope better with the hurdles that everyday life may put in your way.
The fundamentals of Ayurveda can be found in Hindu scriptures called the Vedas — the ancient Indian books of wisdom. It is believed to be the oldest healing science in existence; from which all other systems emerged that’s why it is also called ‘The Mother of All Medicines’. The term Ayurveda has coined from two Sanskrit words–ayur, which means life, and veda, which means science or knowledge thus Ayurveda literally means “the Knowledge of life” or “the science of life”. It is a holistic healing science that not only deals with treatment of diseases but also is a complete way of life, as it believes that life is a combination of senses, mind, body and soul. Hence Ayurveda does not limit itself to body or physical symptoms but also gives a comprehensive knowledge about spiritual, mental and social health. Ayurveda helps us to understand our body; our particular nature; and our individual mixture of elements at a deep physical, mental and emotional level. This knowledge further guide us to identify activities, conditions, herbs and foods that either keep us healthy and in balance, or make us ill and throw us out of balance. In this way Ayurveda help an individual to discover the knowledge of living and health.
In Ayurveda changes are done bit by bit without forcing yourself to anything. Pay attention to your body and let it lead you. Begin with the elements that seem easiest and most natural to you and notice the subtle effects this will have. Your mind will adjust slightly with every single step you take and effortlessly guide you to the next if you learn to pay attention to yourself.
Let this list serve you as an orientation and suggestion of what many people find easy and natural to adhere to. It is certainly not the only way achievable nor a policy that has to be followed exactly — should you feel any other way might suit you better, by all means, don’t hesitate to follow your own direction.
You should also leave out everything that you don’t feel at ease with for once; it might come to you more naturally in the future after you have adjusted your mind a bit more to an Ayurvedic Diet.
Ayurveda is also considered as a sister science of yoga. Both the Ayurveda and yoga developed parallel to each other and have been supportive of one another since ancient times. As a “flexible body brings a flexible mind” – so too does a balanced and purified system help bring about success on the mat and access to a more ‘sattvic’ or harmonious being.
Principals of Ayurveda
All matter is thought to he composed of five basic elements
( panchamahabhutas ) which exhibit the properties of
earth (prithvi), water (jala), fire (tejas), wind (vayu) and space (akasha).
These elements do not exist in isolated forms, but always in a combination,
in which one or more elements dominate. According to Ayurveda,
the human body is composed of derivatives of these five basic elements,
in the form of doshas, tissues (dhatus) and waste products (malas).
The most fundamental and characteristic principle of Ayurveda is called “tridosha”
or the Three Humours. Doshas are the physiological factors of the body.
They are to be seen as all pervasive, subtle entities, and are categorized into
vata, pitta and kapha.
Vata regulates movement and is represented by the nervous system.
Pitta is the principle of biotransformation and is the cause of all metabolic processes in the body.
Kapha is the principle of cohesion and functions through the body fluids.
Together, these three doshas determine the physiologic constitution
of an individual.Health is described as a balance of all three doshas(bodily Humours).
The tissues are classified into seven categories:
Rasa(plasma), Rakta (blood cells),Mansa ( muscular tissue),
Meda (adipose tissue), Asthi (bony tissue), Majja (bone marrow)
and the Shukra (reproductive tissue).
Three main waste products are Mutra (urine), Purish (faeces) and Sweda (sweat).

Get familiar with the principle of “Gunas” Don’t worry it’s not difficult:
“Sattvic” foods: in general are the juicy, easy to digest, tasty, organic, freshly made – they stimulate a sharp and focused state of mind, so try and get some more of these.
“Rajasic” foods: are eggs, caffeine, chile, alcohol, garlic, high quality meat as well as fermented and freshly canned foods. We require them to realize out projects by supporting stamina and providing a decisive state of mind.
“Tamasic” foods: are e.g. leftovers, alcohol (long term effect), meat, mushrooms, onions and frozen as well as fermentes foods. They plenty of a lot of energy to digest and give us the need to finish a project and rest; possibly they can put the mind in a lackluster state. That said, they’re really not “bad” but in our current culture we’re usually already getting enough of them so try and cut back on their intake.

To affirm means to: make firm. Affirmations are an important detail in the visualization process. To affirm, means something is already happening. Affirmations are positive reinforcing statements used to remind someone and the universe what truly matters. Mental commentary in the form of images and words pass through the mind daily. Positive words are used to replace out-worn patterns and ideals. Goals, wants and desires must be created on the mental plane before they can appear in physical form.
This mystically crystal is one of my favorites. Kyanite is a well-known energy conductor in the metaphysical world. In energy sessions Kyanite assists with distribution of any other crystals properties. Another preferred way to use this stone is to use it during reiki attunements for amazing results.
Kyanite is mostly known for its shimmery, metallic look and feel. Although, there are other colors of Kyanite with similar properties. there are some differences in their use. Any color will benefit the ongoing healing of the body and aid the development of metaphysical comprehension. There are other colors of Kyanite apart from the color blue. Other colors of Kyanite include: green, orange and indigo. Due to the high vibration of this crystal, its powerful a stone to align the chakras. Other uses of Kyanite include: the development of telepathy and clairovoiance. This crystaline stone is a perfect match for deep meditation. This gemstone builds the third eye and strengthens the intuition. Kyanite can balance any chakra, it’s a powerful match for healing the body overall.

For Those in Healing
Just in case you wondered if there are rules for healing there are…
The truth is the healing rules listed below operate very impersonally just like any other physical phenomenon.
Follow these rules and you will heal. For these rules will put you on the road to recovery. Ignore them and you will continue to be ill.
No one is free from them ever. So either you decide to work with these healing rules or you will constantly bang into them.
The choice is yours.
1> YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO EVER HEALS YOURSELF
You heal for two reasons. One, you believe you deserve to heal and that belief manifests as your desire to be healed. Two, your desire to be healed manifests as action on your part to get healed. So many people delay, deny, and diffuse their healing because, at bottom, they do not want to live. The desire for healing is truly the desire for living. You will only heal if you really want to live.
No one outside of you can take responsibility for your problems. This means that no one outside of you can really heal you. The truth is that healers are merely facilitators and vehicles for your healing. Healers can advise you, counsel you, and prescribe treatments for you but they cannot heal you. Only you can heal the spiritual cause (“as above”) of your body-mind problem (“so below”).
3> YOU ARE TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR HEALING
When you go to see a healer, you go for a few hours a week at most (unless you are seriously ill). So do the math: the rest of the time your healing is totally up to you. It’s your job to take the medicine the healer has prescribed. It’s your job to do the things the healer has told you to do. It’s your job to assess if the healer is helping you or if you should find another one. So if you are not getting the results you want from your healing, the first place to look for answers is in the mirror.
Everything in the universe is energy. We may appear to be “solid” matter but looks can be deceiving. If you magnify your cells down to your atoms, you would see that you are made up of subtle energy fields and not matter. Your body-mind is constantly radiating, absorbing, and conducting this energy. Every action, every thought, every choice effects your energy field.
Dis-eases occur in the body-mind due to imbalances and blockages in your energy field resulting from how much/little you have honored the needs of your body- mind-spirit, respected your path, and learned your lessons. In the long run, your state of wellness is the net result of your state of beingness: body, mind, and spirit.
5> YOUR BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT ARE ONE BEING
Looking back one hundred years ago, we are amazed that anyone could believe that you could heal the body without healing the mind. Looking forward one hundred years from now, people will be amazed that anyone could believe that you could heal the body and the mind without addressing the spiritual issues arising from the manner in which you conduct your life. Your body, mind, and spirit are intimately connected and act as one. Your body-mind-spirit connect you to your lessons, your path, and to the oneness of the universal collective consciousness.
6> YOU WILL NOT HEAL IF YOU DO NOT LEARN YOUR LESSONS
The Earth is a big schoolhouse. You are here to learn lessons (if you have not already consulted Rules #1 for Being Human, please do so). There are many ways for you to learn your lessons. You can learn through pleasure or pain. The God Self within you, your Higher Self, is the one who sent you the problem to be healed to advance your learning. So the best way to heal your problems is to accept that you have lessons to learn and to do your best to master them.
7> YOU CAUSED THE PROBLEM AND ARE THE CURE
Your life is always up to you: do not ever allow anyone to convince you otherwise. Too many people too often allow those in the healing professions to define their lives by accepting the life or death sentences the healers decree. Only God is perfect: any human healer can be wrong (even me).
Case in point: if I had believed my doctors I would have died by 21, yet somehow I have lived to be 49+. I lived because I accepted that I had caused my problems and the answers to them lay within me. I was born deeply wounded because I had wounded others… but it was my wounds that led to my gifts. I healed because I forgave myself. I forgave myself because God loved and forgave me.
8> HEALING UNLEASHES YOUR NATURAL ABILITY TO HEAL
Benjamin Franklin said “God does the work (of healing) and the physician takes the fee”. And it’s true. Your body-mind was designed to be a self-maintaining system, automatically correcting for the problems inevitable to your existence on Earth. In fact, the truth is that you are always sick because your body-mind is in a continual state of fighting off threats from your environment.
You become ill when the body-mind is too overburdened by afflictions to go on functioning normally. Dis-eases and dis-orders result when long standing threats to the body-mind-spirit go untreated for too long. Death is only inescapable when the energy field is so degraded that the physical matter cannot be supported.
9> CURES HEAL ONLY IF THEY CREATE ENERGY HARMONY
The energy field that surrounds, penetrates, and binds your body-mind-spirit is in a perpetual state of activity. It is constantly in motion, continuously taking in and sending out vibrating energy waves. It processes signals of energy created by your actions, your thoughts, and your emotions as well as by your environment and lifestyle choices (food, sleep, exercise, etc).
Medicine, drugs, or herbs work to heal your body-mind because the vibration they produce has the right harmonic relationship to the part of the body-mind currently in a state of dis-ease. These harmonic boosts serve as an aid to the the self regulating mechanisms of body-mind in eliminating the energetic imbalance that caused the dis-ease to begin with. For only a balanced field can supply the body-mind with sufficient energy to maintain a healthy state of matter.
10> GREATEST HEALING TOOLS YOU HAVE ARE LOVE AND JOY
One of the best physicians there is has the sign saying “Laughter is the Best Medicine” prominently displayed in his office. That’s just goes to prove that the best things in life are still free – even in a doctor’s office! When people come to me for healing, I always know that those who can laugh about their ills and have a sense of humor about their problems will do the best. No matter what treatment you are on, it can always be improved by “a smile a day to keep the doctor away”.
11> TO HEAL IS TO ACHIEVE A BALANCED STATE OF WELLNESS
Simply defined, healing is achieving and maintaining a state of “wellness”. Wellness flows from fully developing each dimension of body, mind, and spirit and finding an overall balance between them. Ultimately, this balance is achieved by honoring your spiritual path and your unique purpose in life.
Most view healing as a process of just “repairing” problems. Yet when all the repairs are completed, continuing the healing process takes you to the next level of your growth and enhancement. The universe is a continuously unfolding and expanding creation and there is always more to explore and to grow. Healing is the means to get you there: it becomes a journey and not just a destination.
If you are not convinced that these rules are for real, see how they relate to the Top 10 Causes of Death… take a few minutes to save your life.
If you want to clear, heal, and balance your karma, there are additional rules you will need to consult… the Rules of Past Life Healing.

There is much confusion as to what is the healthiest diet for us to consume–a predominantly raw food diet or a cooked-food diet? On the one hand we have raw food enthusiasts recommending a natural diet of 100% raw food. This is based on the fact that raw food is high in nutrients, enzymes, and prana (life energy). Some raw foodists can get quite fanatical about their philosophy that cooked food equals “dead food” which has lost most of its nutrients. Others have their Chinese or Ayurvedic doctor recommend mostly cooked foods and see a lot of their health issues disappear on such a diet. Now who is right and who is wrong? I myself have experienced the benefits of raw foods and especially juicing, which manifest in increased energy, clarity of mind, radiant complexion, and weight loss, just to mention a few. There are certainly many documented cases of individuals overcoming serious health issues, some life threatening, through adherence to a raw food regime. And of course I have to agree, that some types of cooked food are not very good for you when consumed over a long period of time – fried foods, heavily salted food, over-cooked vegetables, microwaved food, etc.
However, everyone is different, and diet must be individualized. There is no one single diet that is “best” for everyone. Some people will do best on raw, others on macrobiotic diets. Also, a 100% raw food diet can be problematic – even though a good healing diet, it can create problems in the long run.

Below are the symptoms and problems associated with a long-term strict raw food or vegan diet:
* a general lack of vitality
* low body temperature (always cold)
* a weak digestive system with a loss of digestive strength
* food cravings
* rapid growth of grey hair
* stalled weight loss due to low metabolism
* amenorrhea (menstrual cycles cease), even in young women
* loss of libido
* hair loss and nail problems
* dental erosion
* insomnia and neurological problems
Obviously, the modern Western diet sickens us with its overload of meat, salt, bad fats, white sugar, white flour, and its deficiency of living foods.
There is no question that cooking deactivates some vital nutrients, including enzymes, but cooking also makes digestion less stressful. Many people with poor digestion don’t handle raw foods or beans very well, which is in part why macrobiotic diets may have worked for some people recovering from various maladies. The higher proportion of nutrients in raw food is useless if the food can’t be digested, absorbed and assimilated. Cooking contracts vegetable foods, concentrating more nutrients with less bulk. Bitter greens like spinach and kale are generally more edible when cooked, because cooking also eliminates the oxalic acid, which interferes with calcium absorption.
Cooking significantly improves the digestibility/bioavailability of starchy foods such as potatoes and yams, squashes, grains, and legumes. Legumes need to be soaked and cooked thoroughly, otherwise they contain enzyme blockers, that inhibit protein and carbohydrate metabolism. They also contain lectins, phytic acid and saponins that are deactivated by cooking. Lectins play a role in certain auto-immune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory diseases. Green beans always need to be cooked until soft otherwise they are toxic! Raw beans are poisonous because they contain prussic acid, which is de-activated only by cooking. Beta-carotene absorption can be as low as 1-2% from raw vegetables such as carrots. Mild heating, such as steaming, appears to improve the extractability of beta-carotene from vegetables, and also its bioavailability. Mineral losses from cooking are insignificant.
Lycopene in tomatoes has been hypothesized to be responsible for reducing the risk of some cancers and heart disease. The cooking of tomatoes with olive oil is a characteristic combination in the Mediterranean diet. Previous studies have shown that the absorption of lycopene is greater from cooked tomatoes.
The Ayurvedic Perspective:
There is not just one dietary approach that would be ideal for everyone. In order to correctly determine our optimal requirements we need to examine many factors. We have to take into account the individuals constitution (prakruti), the nature of their imbalance and symptoms (vikruti), the seasonal and climatic influences, stage of life, occupation, etc.
In general, those of a pitta, or pitta/kapha constitution, can do very well on some raw food in their diet, especially in the late spring and summer. But if someone has a severe vata imbalance, characterized by insomnia, excessive worry and anxiety, sense of being overwhelmed, spaceyness, dryness, gas, bloating, constipation, or amenorrhea, they may need nourishing, warm, moist, easily digestible cooked food as part of their healing journey.
Someone with a kapha imbalance can easily develop sinus problems, asthma, or allergies on a raw food diet.
My recommendation for those who chose to follow a raw food diet is to apply some of the ancient Ayurvedic wisdom to help avoid potential problems and help you stay well. Ayurveda recognizes our unique individual differences.
Balancing a Raw Food Diet With Ayurveda:
By using these simple Ayurvedic principles, any diet can be made more balancing:
* Daily warm oil massage (using unrefined, organic sesame oil), Ayurvedic-style, can be very helpful.
* Herbs with a calming action, including the commonly available chamomile tea. (Many other herbs are available, see an Ayurvedic health practitioner for recommendations.)
* Some raw-foodies report that running, cycling, swimming, or other aerobic exercise elevates their body temperature and also improves their digestion and the quality of sleep.
* Spices: ginger, cayenne, black pepper, cumin, coriander, fennel, etc. will improve digestion and metabolism. Pungent greens, like mustard, watercress, arugula, are alternatives to pungent spices.
* Tonic herbs: the Ayurvedic herbal blend triphala, strengthens the entire digestive system, and is extremely beneficial for the colon.
* Avoid cold food and liquids. Allow refrigerated items to return to room temperature before consuming.
* Sipping hot water with meals, and in between meals, can help provide warmth to the body. The addition of a small piece of fresh ginger root (about 1/2 inch piece) to hot water will help considerably to increase agni (the digestive fire) and improve digestion and assimilation of nutrients. Adding fresh ginger or a little bit of flax seed oil or olive oil to a vegetable juice will increase the nutrient absorption, increase agni and not aggravate vata as much.
* Using a food blender, or consuming vegetable juices will decrease dryness.
* Adding fresh lime or lemon juice to foods also increases agni due to its sour taste.
* Using organic extra-virgin olive oil, walnut oil or flax seed oil on salads and other dry foods will help diminish their vata provoking quality and provide necessary fatty acids to the diet.
* Chewing a thin slice of ginger sprinkled with salt before a meal will get the digestive juices flowing.
*Chewing fennel seeds after a meal will prevent gas or bloating.
* Relaxing for at least 10 minutes after a meal without getting up and rushing immediately will promote digestion and counteract fatigue after eating.
When it comes to deciding what foods to eat use common sense, eat according to your constitution, eat mostly cooked foods when the weather is cold, when it is foggy or in the evenings. Salads are best eaten at lunchtime (when the digestive fire is strongest), in summer, or when the weather is hot. I am always amazed when I go back to Europe, how healthy and grounded my friends are, even though their diet is not really 100% nutritionally correct (lots of wine, bread, pastries). How is that possible? I think the answer is that they sit down with their friends or families and take time in preparing and enjoying their meals. Here in California a lot of people are just sipping some green protein shake and hurry off to their yoga class. Now when you lovingly prepare your food, and really look forward to eating it, and enjoy every bite, guess what happens? All the digestive juices are flowing at the right time and the body will extract all the nutrients it needs. Food that is gulped down quickly, just because one thinks it is healthy, but is not really enjoyed will actually be harmful to your health!! It does not get digested well and wreaks havoc throughout your system.
So take time in preparing fresh meals, enjoy your food in good company and relax after eating! Happiness is the best digestive aid!
One thing about building abundance in our lives is that we can do it with a light heart faster than we can with a heavy one. GET LIGHT. Laugh and enjoy your life. Besides, we can enjoy life with more vitality if we feel good than if we do not always consider Intention, it is everything.
Also, know, we all have a place and space in the world no matter what we feel, perceive or think. God loves you. You are connected to everything all the time no matter what. Nothing is by accident. That does not mean we are not here to learn. Nevertheless, that happens daily.
So…enjoy the divine connection you have to ALL…its best to want for others’ what you want for yourself…individuals are just you in another body. So keep attracting your heart’s desire and learn to perfect that reality every day. It is simple. See it no other way…ATTRACTING ABUNDANCE! NOW.THAT WAS EASY!
